Nikola’s first priority is her children — the food that she receives at the food pantry is helping keep her family healthy and strong this holiday season and all year long.
Right now, Nikola is diligently searching for a job where she can work from home and still care for her children. Nikola shares that her family is on the verge of having their SNAP benefits cut.
So Nikola made a brave choice to visit the food pantry at the Salvation Army in Stuart, which is readily stocked with food from Treasure Coast Food Bank.
Nikola previously went to culinary school and shares that because of her training, she places extra importance on healthy eating, and tries to pass on those values to her kids as they cook together.
Her children especially love the fresh fruits and veggies Nikola picks up from the food pantry — and enjoy trying new food items she brings home, too.
“This is such a huge blessing for our family,” Nikola says.
Your support is a tremendous help for our community members and families just like Nikola’s. Thank you for your commitment to ending hunger along the Treasure Coast.
