Treasure Coast Food Bank opened the area’s first Your Plate facility on Thursday, March 29, 2012, launching a program to combat hunger not only with food but with education and other tools to give people better lives.

Your Plate gives families tools to change their lives.

“We realized providing food would not be enough in solving the problem of hunger,” said CEO Judith Cruz. “Your Plate allows clients to achieve independence and empowers them to take back control of their lives.”

This program consists of SNAP, FL Kidcare, Medicaid, TANF, and other benefits assistance; nutrition education; health & wellness workshops; economic mobility presentations; senior programs; child nutrition programs; and more. Your Plate Health & Wellness provides individuals and families with the tools they need to achieve independence, health, and financial stability.  We speak English, Spanish, and Creole. If you are in need of SNAP (food stamp) enrollment assistance you can submit a request to have one of the Treasure Coast Food Bank Certified Application Assisters contact you by visiting the link below and completing the referral form. An assister will contact you within 2 business days once completed.
