Agriculture is the heart of our region!

Treasure Coast Food Bank celebrates our farmers and ranchers for their commitment that nourishes our communities. Their contributions go beyond farming; they are an essential fabric of our community and creating a hunger-free Treasure Coast.

Last month, we publicly announced our ‘Feed Unite Flourish’ capital campaign – a $30 million initiative to increase capacity and expand services with a new 132,000 square foot operations center. This National Agriculture Day, we are highlighting our next step towards strengthening our community’s food system.

Our new building creates pathways to collective impact with our agriculture partners:

• Providing a 76 percent increase in food distribution, including farm-fresh food to nourish our community.
• Expanded cold storage to extend the shelf life of food and reduce waste.
• A streamlined hub for agricultural partners to donate oversupply of produce, strengthening our regional food system.
• Providing sustainability and resilience with uninterrupted food access, during storms and emergencies.
• Expanded prepared meal production using fresh ingredients to prepare healthy meals that help improve the health and wellness of children, older adults, and families.

Together We Grow.

On this National Agriculture Day, we recognize the farmers and ranchers who work tirelessly to feed our nation. Supporting them is more important than ever. One of the most impactful ways to support them is by advocating for a strong Farm Bill—critical legislation that shapes agricultural policy, funding, and support programs.

Forty-eight percent of the food sourced by Treasure Coast Food Bank comes directly from farms. With more than double the space in the new building, this expansion creates pathways to strengthen the organization’s partnerships with the local agriculture sector, reduce food waste, and enhance access to fresh, nutritious food for neighbors facing food insecurity or hunger.

This facility is an investment in a future…

Where fresh, nutritious food moves seamlessly from farm to table, supporting both our agricultural community and the families who rely on them. We cannot do this without you. Your investment in Treasure Coast Food Bank is an investment in the people of this region—our neighbors, our farmers, and our future.
