When Raye was invited by a friend to visit Treasure Coast Food Bank, she had no idea how much its mission would mean to her — or how much it would become a part of her life.
“I’m not going to work. I’m simply helping.”
Of all the activities that Raye has participated in with the Food Bank, one of her favorites is volunteering at the Mobile Food Distributions in Okeechobee.
“It gives you the opportunity to feel like you are doing more than just passing out the food,” she says. “You are making people comfortable in receiving the food.”
With a lifelong commitment to service, Raye remains dedicated to helping make the Treasure Coast a better place to call home for every neighbor. Thank you, Raye!
