Position Summary:

Treasure Coast Food Bank seeks a skilled Digital Content Coordinator to enhance our online presence and engage with our community through compelling content across social media, email marketing, and our website.
As a Digital Content Creator at Treasure Coast Food Bank, you’ll play a vital role in amplifying our mission to alleviate hunger in our community. You will work collaboratively with our Marketing and Communications team to develop and execute content strategies that resonate with our audience and drive meaningful engagement.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Creation: Develop and produce strategic, audience-focused content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), email marketing campaigns, and our website.
- Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media posts. Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages, ensuring timely and supportive interactions with our audience.
- Email Marketing: Design and implement email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, inform supporters, and promote events and initiatives.
- Website Updates: Manage and update content on the Treasure Coast Food Bank website, ensuring it is current, engaging, and aligned with our mission.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to develop content strategies that align with organizational goals and current trends.
- Analytics and Optimization: Track, analyze, and report on social media and email marketing performance. Utilize insights to refine strategies and enhance effectiveness.
- Visual Content: Capture and edit photos and videos highlighting our impact, events, and initiatives. Create visually appealing content that aligns with our brand identity.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in digital marketing, social media, and content creation. Recommend and implement new platforms or tools as appropriate.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and external partners to promote events and initiatives and foster beneficial partnerships through social media.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:1-3 years of experience in content development, marketing, or a related role. Nonprofit experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Impeccable grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools.
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Capcut) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creativity, innovative vision, and passion for out-of-the-box thinking.
- Ability to work in a professional team environment
- Efficient time-management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement digital events and maintain records.
- Ability to communicate and make presentations effectively with community leaders, donors, volunteers, and media in a professional manner.

Physical Requirements & Acknowledgement:
This work is in an office environment. Physical activities are necessary for the performance of this job, such as the ability to sit at a computer workstation for up to eight hours at a time. Ability to move, bend, lift, and carry up to 30 lbs. on occasion throughout the Food Bank facility. Ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone. Ability to interpret instructions and questions when asked. After business hours, work is required occasionally throughout the year. Frequent travel between quad-county areas using personal vehicles is required.
