What You’ll Do:
As a vital part of our operations team, you’ll do more than move products—you’ll help move hope. Your day-to-day will include:
- Handle with care: Safely inspect, receive, store, rotate, and distribute food and non-food items, following Safe Food Handling and sanitation standards.
- Pick it and pack it: Accurately pull and prepare agency orders for delivery or pickup.
- Load and unload: Assist with incoming deliveries and outgoing distributions—verify contents, inspect product, and record weights.
- Keep it moving: Operate material handling equipment to move inventory efficiently and safely.
- Stay organized: Label inventory, maintain accurate records, and ensure everything is where it needs to be.
- Protect our standards: Follow all safety, sanitation, and food bank guidelines, including OSHA, Feeding America, and Florida Association of Food Banks requirements.
- Team player: Work closely with fellow staff and volunteers to ensure a clean, organized, and mission-ready warehouse.
