“It’s really powerful,” says Julie Valdes, a Pharmacist and Diabetes Educator at Whole Family Health Center. “When patients can take home the same healthy foods we just talked about, they feel supported. It’s not just advice—it’s action they can take right away.”

By addressing food insecurity in a place where families already feel supported—like their trusted health center—we’re breaking down barriers to healthy living. Families already turn to their doctors and nurses for guidance on their health, so it makes sense that we meet them right where they are. With the Family Market, we’re offering a practical, immediate solution to hunger and health challenges.
