At the Treasure Coast Food Bank, we are dedicated to fighting food insecurity and ensuring that everyone in our community has access to nutritious food. We understand that we are not alone in this mission—our community is full of people who share our passion for helping others. We invite you to join us in making a difference in the lives of our neighbors on the Treasure Coast by volunteering your time and skills.

The Importance of Community Involvement

Food insecurity affects thousands of individuals and families in the Treasure Coast region. In 2020, we provided over 48 million pounds of food to our partner agencies, benefiting more than 100,000 people each week. While these numbers may seem staggering, we know that we can achieve even more with your help.

Together, we can tackle the challenges of food insecurity and create a healthier, more connected community. Here’s how you can get involved:

Volunteer Your Time

We rely on the support of dedicated volunteers to help us with a variety of tasks, from sorting and packing food to assisting with special events and fundraisers. No matter your skills or interests, there’s a place for you at the Treasure Coast Food Bank. By volunteering with us, you’ll not only help our neighbors in need, but also build lasting connections with like-minded individuals in our community.

Organize a Food Drive

Hosting a food drive is a fantastic way to involve your friends, family, coworkers, or classmates in our mission. Collect non-perishable food items and donate them to the Treasure Coast Food Bank, where we’ll distribute them to our partner agencies and directly to those in need. Your efforts will have a tangible impact on the lives of the people we serve.

Advocate for Our Cause

One of the most powerful ways to support our mission is by raising awareness about food insecurity on the Treasure Coast. Share our message with your network, attend our events, and engage in conversations about the importance of food security. By amplifying our cause, you’ll help to create a more informed and compassionate community.

Financial Contributions

While we greatly appreciate your time and efforts, we also welcome financial contributions. Your monetary support allows us to purchase and distribute nutritious food to those in need, fund our programs, and ultimately, reach more individuals and families facing food insecurity in our community.

Join Our Mission Today

We believe that, together, we can create a food-secure Treasure Coast where everyone has access to the nourishment they need to thrive. We are deeply grateful for your support and look forward to welcoming you as a valued member of our community of volunteers.
