Treasure Coast Food Bank’s 2022 Holiday Online Auction presented by Florida Power and Light filled holiday wish lists and raised enough to provide more than 150,000 meals for neighbors in need on the Treasure Coast.
Bidders snagged jewelry, art, excursion tickets, and gift cards while helping to raise nearly $20,000 – enough to provide 153,232 meals for children, seniors, veterans, and families struggling to make ends meet.
“I’d like to thank everyone who participated in our Holiday Online Auction, including the bidders and those who generously donated items to us for the auction,” said Judith Cruz, President and CEO of Treasure Coast Food Bank. “I’d especially like to thank Florida Power and Light for the generous sponsorship. There’s nothing better than giving a gift that gives back.”
There were more than 100 items available for bid during the week-long event, which concluded earlier this month, and all proceeds benefit Treasure Coast Food Bank’s programs.
The December tradition helps Treasure Coast Food Bank ensure that no one has to worry about where their next meal will come from during the holidays.
