Treasure Coast Food Bank offering training programs to help rebuild local service industry

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — During the pandemic, the service industry was hit hard.

Many restaurants and bars suffered financially as people stayed home forcing employees to find other sources of income.

Even the number of truck drivers responsible for hauling goods to these businesses went way downhill.

Now, these industries are starting to make their way back. The Treasure Coast Food Bank is trying to bolster that effort.
