Treasure Coast Food Bank’s Director of Business Development, Irela Guevara, recently joined WQCS 88.9 FM’s In Focus, presented by IRSC Public Media, to discuss food insecurity across the Treasure Coast and the work being done to help neighbors access the resources they need.
During the conversation, Guevara shared how Treasure Coast Food Bank serves the tri-county area through its food distribution network, community partnerships, and programs designed to address hunger while helping families move toward greater stability.
The interview also highlights Hunger Action Month, observed each September as an opportunity to raise awareness about food insecurity and encourage the community to get involved. From volunteering and donating to simply helping spread the word, everyone has a role to play in helping end hunger across the Treasure Coast.
