“My goal is to have my kids be healthy and prosper in life,” Brandi shares.

She and her husband, Carlos, work hard to make this goal a reality. When the kids aren’t in school working on their favorite subjects like math and reading, the family spends time together going to the beach. And at home, the children can count on well-balanced family meals.

Brandi found a Treasure Coast Food Bank mobile pantry in Lincoln Park when she was picking up one of her kids from school in the area.

She appreciates the variety of healthy food she receives and how it helps supplement her grocery bill.

Brandi’s husband, Carlos, works in construction, but hours are not always consistent. And with the high prices of nearly every item at the grocery store, affording enough healthy food can be difficult.

“Sometimes, we don’t have enough to buy food,” Brandi explains. “Here, they give not only food but vegetables and fruits. It really helps.”

Along the Treasure Coast, your generosity is bringing nourishing meals to families like Brandi’s and filling empty plates this holiday season. Thank you.
