About This Program
The Senior Nutrition Program is dedicated to supporting the health and independence of older adults by providing consistent access to nutritious food. Through partnerships with senior centers, community organizations, and housing facilities, Treasure Coast Food Bank delivers groceries and fresh produce tailored to the dietary needs of older adults. These food distributions help seniors maintain a balanced diet, manage chronic health conditions, and reduce the risk of malnutrition.
In addition to food, the program connects participants with other vital resources, including nutrition education and community support services. By addressing food insecurity among seniors, the program helps ensure that older adults can age with dignity, stability, and improved quality of life. The Senior Nutrition Program is a key part of the food bank’s mission to serve vulnerable populations with compassion and care.
