About This Program
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a federally funded initiative that provides monthly food boxes to low-income seniors aged 60 and older. Through this program, Treasure Coast Food Bank distributes nutritious, shelf-stable items such as canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, pasta, milk, and protein sources like peanut butter or canned meat. These supplemental groceries are carefully selected to help improve the health and nutrition of seniors who may be at risk of hunger.
By easing the burden of grocery costs, CSFP helps older adults stretch their limited incomes and maintain their independence. The program also offers a valuable connection to other community resources and support services. Through CSFP, we are committed to ensuring that seniors in our community have access to the nutritious food they need to live healthy, dignified lives.
If you are a resident of Indian River County age 60 or over and are interested in seeing if you qualify for this program, please send an email to csfp@tcfoodbank.org.
