The SNAP- Ed Program Coordinator oversees the development and implementation of nutrition education data evaluation efforts to enhance program effectiveness. This multifaceted role involves cultivating partnerships, providing localized nutrition education, analyzing program data, and driving continuous improvement. Dedicated to fostering community well-being and addressing food insecurity, this position bridges access to nutritious food and empowerment through education and data-driven strategies. Job Overview
The SNAP- Ed Program Coordinator leads efforts to analyze program data, provide insights for improvement, and ensure effective program evaluation. This role will oversee evaluation andreporting systems and provide data-driven insights to influence current and future program strategy.
The ideal candidate is an effective data manager, problem-solver, and communicator with a proactive, organized, and collaborative style. We are looking for someone willing to wear multiple hats given our small team, has a knack for spreadsheets and data visualization, and is passionate about helping people understand how to interpret and use data for building strong programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides program data input and analysis through the effective use of the program reporting system.
- Monitors data entry input and the execution of pre and post survey collection; provides feedback to ensure data integrity.
- Provide data for required monthly reports and contract deliverable tracking.
- Provide reports to the SNAP-Ed Manager to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Utilize comprehensive database tracking for program evaluation.
- Identify potential nutrition education partners.
- Attend community events to help promote the SNAP-Ed program.
- Conduct nutrition classes and cooking demonstrations at community events and partner sites when needed.
- Build and enhance relationships with agencies and engage the community in the mission and strategy.
- Uphold policies and best practices for food safety.
- Other duties as assigned

Key lived experiences, attributes, and skillsets sought in the SNAP-Ed Program Coordinator
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, nutrition, statistics, health and human services, or related field.
- One to three years of experience in health education, public health, statistics, health and human services, data analytics, or related fields.
- One to three years of program evaluation experience with a preference for quantitative and qualitative research experience.
- Excellent problem-solver and communicator with demonstrated skills in data collection and visualization.
- Experience working in low-income, culturally diverse communities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently while maintaining a collaborative work style with the team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with STATA, Qualtrics, or other data analysis systems a plus.
