Treasure Coast Food Bank is committed to significantly increasing the amount of fresh, nutritious food for children, seniors, and families who are struggling with hunger in our community. Our production kitchen is doing just that!
Our Food for Thought tours provide a behind-the-scenes look into Treasure Coast Food Bank’s state-of-the-art food production kitchen. Lead by our Director of Culinary Services and Executive Chef Daniel Leavy, guests learn how Treasure Coast Food Bank is feeding the Treasure Coast with locally sourced, nutritious produce.
In addition to creating a new market for area farmers, the food production kitchen is channeling millions of pounds of produce into the hands of food insecure individuals, generating new jobs in the community, and creating skills-based training opportunities. We are excited to share with you our approach in doing so!
