Friends & Family Volunteer Day
February 2 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Family Volunteer Day is a day that celebrates the power of families who work together to support their neighbors in need here on the Treasure Coast who may not know where their next meal is coming from.
The first Saturday of each month, families use this day to teach children valuable, real life lessons about compassion and caring as we work together to sort and pack food, sort items for our Teen Pantry, pack backpacks for children, pack senior and veterans boxes and bag pet food for those struggling with the issue of hunger.
Volunteering also can be a great way for kids and adults to develop skills, learn more about their community and make friends.
Children 8 years of age and older with adult supervision.
Advance registration is required.
Age Requirement: Minimum Age is eight years old and requires adult supervision.
Dress Code: Due to safety concerns all volunteers must wear close-toed shoes (no sandals or flip flops) and clothes appropriate to work in a warehouse environment.
