A small action can have a big impact.
Food insecurity is an issue facing families in communities across the country, and according to the USDA, one in eight Americans currently struggles with hunger at some point during the year. Walmart, Sam’s Club, Feeding America and member food banks are committed to providing meals to people in need, and with our sixth annual nationwide “Fight Hunger. Spark Change.” campaign, we’re calling on customers and suppliers to join us in helping support people struggling with hunger.
To kick off the campaign, Walmart made an initial donation of $3 million, the equivalent of at least 30 million meals, to Feeding America and member food banks.
749 million meals have been secured to-date!
