Canstruction® is an international charity that hosts building competitions for nonprofit organizations that combat hunger.
Treasure Coast Food Bank’s first Canstruction® packed a 3,743-pound wallop in the fight against hunger. It is back this year, and anticipated to be even bigger and better than before!
Teams constituted of students, organizations or businesses are welcome to enter the competition. Each team will plan and build a structure entirely out of canned goods. After the exhibition, all of the canned food is donated to Treasure Coast Food Bank for distribution. With TCFB serving nearly 100,000 local residents weekly, teams can be assured their participation is contributing to a worthy cause. In addition to the wonderful challenge and experience, the teams will also be eligible for our annual awards! Click here to get your registration form!
Judges recognized the Canstruction Teams with awards in six categories: Design & Structural Integrity, Best Meal, Best Use of Labels, Jurors’ Favorite, Honorable Mention, & People’s Choice.
