Students in St. Lucie County Schools, both public and private, are creating more than 500 ceramic bowls which will be sold at the Downtown Fort Pierce Farmers’ Market on Saturday, March 18, 2017.

For $15.00, patrons can purchase a bowl of their choice and have it filled with fresh, hot soup prepared by culinary arts students from the Treasure Coast.

By creating and donating their bowls to this event, the students can make a positive difference in their community by helping their neighbors who are food insecure.

New this year – A silent auction for bowls signed by celebrities including Johnny Mathis, Kenny Rogers, Air Supply, Jay Leno and players from the New York Mets such as Jacob deGrom, Steven Matz, David Wright, Yo’enis Ce’spedes and many more!

Special thanks to Anne Satterlee with the Sunrise Theater and Kasey Blair with the St. Lucie Mets for their help in getting the bowls signed.
