Once a year, letter carriers across the Treasure Coast and nationwide deliver something more precious than the mail. They deliver food. Last year we collected 249,250 pounds of food!

The 25th Annual National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is the largest single-day food drive in the world and helps local food banks, including Treasure Coast Food Bank, feed the one in six Americans who struggle with hunger. On May 13th, letter carriers will collect non-perishable food items that residents leave in or near their mailboxes. This is also the perfect time for all our snowbirds to clean out their cabinets and pantries before heading back north.

Volunteers are needed for this once a year food drive that will bring more than 200,000 meals to those who are food insecure here on the Treasure Coast. There are multiple locations to sign up for. Hours vary per location.
