“So very grateful for their kindness and thinking of people that are in need.”

Dileymis and Ariel are loving parents who are struggling to stretch their budget with the soaring cost of food, gas, and more.

Having a 10-month old means that Dileymis can’t return to work or pursue her dream of becoming a paralegal just yet. The family of five receives some SNAP benefits but depends on Ariel’s income as a painting contractor. Sadly, his work hasn’t rebounded since Covid came to the Treasure Coast, so money is very tight.

When the budget is stretched too thin to afford groceries, Dileymis visits a local food pantry to get the nutritious food her little ones need …

But it wasn’t until she took her children to see the pediatrician at Whole Family Health Center in Fort Pierce that she learned about their Diaper Pantry that is stocked thanks to the support from people like you.

Diapers are an expensive necessity for a family with little ones. So Dileymis was thrilled to learn more of their limited income could go toward groceries, rent, and bills instead of diapers.

“So very grateful for their kindness and thinking of people that are in need,” Dileymis says.

On behalf of families like this one, thank you for partnering with the Treasure Coast Food Bank to support important outreaches like our Diaper Pantry. Your support again today bridges the gap for people who are facing hunger.
