Corporate Social Responsibility programs are no longer a novel idea.
Simply put, doing good….is good for business.
Treasure Coast Food Bank partners with local businesses to develop opportunities for workplace giving and volunteer programs that help our neighbors in need. Whether it’s a food drive, monetary donation or volunteering, we can help you plan a strategy that aligns with corporate goals.Studies tell us that customers, employees, stakeholders and the community respond positively to businesses that give back. Good corporate citizenship results in bottom line benefits. Here are the top 3.
1. Strong Marketing and PR Value
When your company aligns with the Treasure Coast Food Bank you create positive visibility through press coverage in the community. Engaging your employees and customers about the impact you are making can help you attract new business. It can be the difference in your product or service being one of many, or gaining the competitive advantage in your market. The bonus: your organization can inspire others to do the same.
2. Employee Morale, Satisfaction and Recruitment
We are in an age of employees that want greater purpose in their jobs. Understanding what is important to your employees and empowering them to make a difference in the community will not only retain them, but it will attract high quality workers to your company. Employee engagement is critical to increasing revenue and innovation.
3. You Make an Impact in The Community
Margaret Mead once said: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” Mead’s words have become increasingly more applicable to business today—not just individuals. We know that together, we can solve hunger.

Workplace and corporate groups are welcome to volunteer at Treasure Coast Food Bank. There may be no more effective team building exercise than having employees participate in a community focused project. Corporate teams help out at our distribution center doing everything from sorting food to assembling bags for the kids in our Backpack Program.
From IT assistance to building services, Treasure Coast Food Bank is always seeking donations of products and services to keep our costs down and our resources directed to feeding those in need. In-kind donations from corporate partners are an efficient and easy way to offer help and may be tax deductible. Consider printing services, event space, creative and professional services, silent auction/raffle items and advertising placements.
Food drives are a great way to engage your organization in the fight against hunger. While all food donations are appreciated, consider the benefits of hosting a virtual food drive.
A virtual food drive eliminates the operating costs associated with the collection and sorting of food through traditional food drives. Donations collected from virtual food drives enable us to procure high quality, nutritious foods that are often not donated. As a Feeding America food bank, we can purchase food at a much lower cost than traditional retail, so your dollar goes much farther and provides far more food. Your company’s logo will be included on the Virtual Food Drive page for the duration of your efforts and we will link to your company website. The Virtual Food Drive is an easy way for your employees to get involved in feeding our neighbors in need. Click here to visit our Virtual Food Drive page.
