Zorana was 36 weeks pregnant with twins when we met her at a Food Bank curbside pickup. She had nothing but gratitude for friends like you for helping her safely provide food for her family, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Especially for the twins’ safety, I am grateful for and have relied heavily on the Food Bank’s mobile distributions to avoid potentially contracting COVID-19,” Zorana says.
Five years ago, Zorana and her husband moved their family from central Florida to the Treasure Coast. Zorana says she’s especially impressed by how much the Treasure Coast community cares for one another.
“The programs here are so diverse, easily accessible and there continues to be so many opportunities to find help,” she says.
As Zorana prepares to deliver her twins, she’s grateful she can also make sure her husband and older children have nutritious food to eat at home. On the day we met her, she took home fresh vegetables, milk and seven-day meal kits for her family at home.
